Having some problems with my australian shepherd yellow lab mix pup.?

My puppy is 8 weeks old. She is very active. I have tried different ways of correcting her for chewing on stuff, or biting and nothing seems to be working, Honestly everything I try seems to make her mad and she ends up biting and scratching me in retaliation. I have tried simply saying no, and trying to reirect her, made noises to try to ge her to stop, and smacked her butt (not hard),and said no, and none of this is working. I could just some advice on something to try. I'm not having any problems in the potty department. She is doing excellent in that department. I could just use some advice/ tips please.
