What do you think about Osama Bin Laden death?
First of all, I don't agree with how Osama was killed because now we know that our government was taking pictures of Osama's compound in 2005(the pictures have been released), so that means that we could have arrested him long ago but we didn't. Why? His death was used as a political tool and nothing more. When the search for Osama began, he had many followers. But now that we have went into a peaceful country and have decimated it, we look like devils to the rest of the world.Through our own actions, we have enabled the number of Osama's followers to sky rocket.Look at our actions since 9/11 and you will see why the whole world is against us.Instead of going after Osama or the Saudies(12 of the hijackers were from Saudi Arabia), we declared war on a nation who showed no aggression toward us.Now that Osama is dead, the man who is taking his place has already spoken about chemical and biological warfare. He is a scientist who has the knowledge that is needed to do just that.Even with all of the reports of wrong doing by our officials, Americans still aren't asking for any real answers. And what you said about being concerned about retaliation is something that Americans don't really believe will happen.I don't know why, but we, as Americans, have this wild idea that our country could never be destroyed, but if we have learned anything from history, we know that the Roman empire, for example, thought that they could not be destroyed either. We need to ask the hard questions and hold our officials responsible for their actions. If we were attacked in a large city, it would be a massacre.I love this country and I am thankful for the men and women who went into harms way, but I think we should have let them know that the President lied and they were going to fight for oil.I bet there would not have been so many people wanting to go fight that kind of war.You can't unscramble an egg.I have a feeling that the worst is yet to come.May peace be with you.
