Who thinks an academic team cheerleading squad is good.?

Just wondering. Me and my one friend do an academic competition called Brain busters. Brain busters is an academic competition with 5 participants. And we thought it would be funny to have a cheeerleading squad. Several girls have expressed interest in joining the cheerleading squad. What are some ideas ie Costumes or cheers and any thought is general. THANKS
