Is full immersion baptism done at the proper rate these days? Shouldn't it be performed at a much slower rate?

The water does not save, it is the full immersion for the removal of sins because God commanded it that saves. Baptism should be done every time someone is convicted of their sins, repents and desires to become a child of God. In no other way can someone become a child of God.
