Last night something very odd happened that has happened a few times in the past.. I was watching t.v. and fell asleep. Not that it's really surprising but I blurted out in the middle of a conversation that I have ADHD and that I'm trying medication to see if it helps. The two people sitting across from me said they were sure they had ADHD so I guess I thought it was safe to open up to them. They looked at me puzzled and then the one said "I don't need medication, I'm happy the way I am." and that was that. I felt really dumb. The one lady is my friend and she is is in her late 40s. I'm 23. I felt like the undertone was, you don't need the meds, your lazy.. or something like that. It felt weird anyways. Made me wonder though, are they fooling themselves or do the really not need them? My friend that's in her 40's, lets call her Kate. Kate has 2 children, (the other participant at the table was her kid), lives alone, has many of the problems associated with ADHD, has a job at walmart, had her own business but couldn't make it, seems generally unhappy but she has never considered getting help for all of her struggles. Dropped ipod touch into water and now not responding to touch, HELP!?

Three days ago I was stupid enough to drop my ipod touch into a paddling pool of around 15 cm of water. I quickly got it out nd it was only submerged for around 1-2 seconds, i then took it out and it worked fine but soon the screen went very dark and now it has lost all functions in its touch screen, the home button and off button still work and the time seems to be changing but it will not unlock. It will also not let me play music even when controlled by the remote on the earphones. I have tryed drying it with a hairdryer but it just seems to get extremely hot and I don't know how long I should be doing this for, I've heard that it should be put in the oven but not sure for how long? Wii remote cursor glitches like crazy on screen?

When i am on any game, or even in the Wii menu, when i point my wii remote to the TV screen, the little pointer hand (cursor) starts moving all around the screen. When i try to aim at a button on screen, the wii remote will start moving every where and i have no control over it. i tried unplugging the sensor bar, restarting the wii, changing the batteries, adjusting the sensor bar, trying a different controller, and changing the sensitivity of the controller but when i make the sensitivity low, the pointer disappears and reappears everywhere, almost like its completely gone. There were no pictures on his phone and even showed the officer that was called by the landlord to try to forcibly remove my friends. One of neighbors was trying provoke my friend by yelling defamatory comments towards my friend concerning his sexual orientation. His wife held him back and got him back indoors until the officer came to diffuse the situation. The officer ran my friend's name and said that my friend is NOT a sex offender and he laughed about the pictures on the phone, as they were all pictures of our dogs. There were no children pictures at all on the phone! The officer recommended that he file an anti-harassment against the neighbors, but I don't know their names. He was having trouble finding an attorney and the money to do it all. Now I'm hearing the neighbors are putting together a petition to keep them out. I can't use the bus system due to both mine and my son's disabilities and they are my only option to get rides to get groceries and such. Car was damaged while at automobile shop getting worked on...?

I just received a phone call regarding my car being damaged while it was at the automobile repair shop. I have a 5 speed civic with an automatic start button on the remote. I told the employees that yesterday we accidentally pushed the button and the car started and drove itself into the bumper of a van. (it was in 1st gear with the emergency brake up). I told the technician to be careful and not press the automatic start button. 2006 Chevy Impala LTZ keyless entry problems?

Hello! I bought this 2006 Chevy LTZ about 5 years ago new. It is fully loaded with every option, XM, Leather, Power Seats, Remote Start, Alarm, 3.9l V6 (I think its 3.9 ...its the biggest engine under the SS) ...it has everything. I have put 20,000 on this car to date and the problem I am having is with the keyless entry remote. The range on this thing is pathetic, it has been since new. I have to be within 4-5 feet of the drivers door and hit unlock, lock, etc a couple times to get it to work. I never said anything because I assumed Chevy just had crappy remotes, until I saw someone in the parking lot the other day unlock their Impala from 200 feet away. Whats wrong!!!!??? Both of my remotes do this. Its a real pain in the you know what. My VW locks, unlocks, etc from almost 700ft. Please Help!

I've been living in a pretty nice apartment for almost 2 years. About 6 months ago a young couple moved into an apartment a couple of floors up directly above me. Now I know my apts do not rent to sex offenders and his last name isn't on the mailbox, just hers. But he is obviously living here and using this address. So now I don't feel very safe. I come home from work late at night and really don't want to cross paths with this dude, especially if they have been goin at it. My question is , would you rat them out or mind your own buisness. My main fear is retaliation. Who knows, if they get booted he may try to find out who ratted on them and do something crazy or whatever. They are not the most mentally stable people in the world. I just downloaded TeamViewer onto two laptops. One is my own, and one me and my roommate share. Basically what I want to do is log into the remote computer, however, it tells someone when i'm on it. I currently work for a local small structural pest control company that is making me due agricultural pest control. If caught by city I would have my license taken away. The company has been around for several years so I'm sure they know what they are asking me to do is illegal. They are two different types of pest control and due require different licenses.
